I just finished reading books 1 “Ouha the gathering place”, and what I thought was book 2 “We cant choose our families”.
I purchased them both on Amazon. I really like this series too. It’s clean & it’s not a cozy that has a wannabe who thinks they are an amateur detective that does some of the most intellectually challenged ridiculous things, making themselves out to be extremely unsmart, all while making the police out to be numb nuts. I don’t like it when the police are made to look bad.
So, here’s the thing, I’m wanting to buy book 3 “When luck runs out”. I always read the “read here” section to see if I like the book. Well, this books “read here” section is the same as the 2nd book. In other words, both book 2 & 3 are the same story. I think what is in book # 2, is really book # 3.

Thank you for the heads up. This is very embarrassing. Every few years I go back into a file and update the list of current books at the end of the books. The only explanation I have is that I inadvertently added 3 – luck in the 2 -family when I did this. I have fixed this so ‘You Can’t Choose Your Family’ should have the right version in 24 hours or so. I have no idea how long it has been like this.
